Dial 911 in Any Emergency:
When you dial 911, Erie County Department of Public Safety dispatch center will dispatch a West County Paramedic Association with a paramedic and EMT, along with your local fire department ambulance. Call 911 for any life threatening emergency, such as heart attack, severe fall, an automobile accident, an illness, etc. Calling 911 provides the fastest possible response from Emergency Personnel.
Non-Emergency Medical Stretcher Transport:
WCPA provides medical stretcher transportation on a non-emergency basis. This includes hospital to hospital, home to hospital, or hospitals to home. Special event's such as weddings, funerals, etc. if drivers are available.
Non-Emergency Wheelchair Transport:
WCPA provides Wheelchair transportation on a non-emergency basis. This includes hospital to hospital, home to hospital, or hospitals to home. Special event's such as weddings, funerals, etc. if drivers are available.
Medical Taxi:
Medical Taxi service provides transportation of individuals that are ambulatory but cannot or choose not to drive for any reason.
EMS Stand-Bys:
WCPA provides trained EMT and/or Paramedics for EMS stand-by at local events.
Education:
CPR, CPR with AED, Advanced First Aid. EMS Con-ed classes offered through our training center monthly.

Current Rates for Medical Taxi and Wheelchair Transports
$30.00 one way transport $60.00 round trip.
$2.75 per loaded mile after 15 miles.
$9.00 per 1/2 hour of wait time after 30 minutes.
$15.00 for an additional WCPA employee to assist with any special needs for one way transport.
